Robert Kanok has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry. Robert began their career in 1996 as a Senior Software Engineer and Project Lead at Raytheon. In 1999, they became a Technical Architect and Project Manager for TELUS, Verizon, NuSkin, Service Magic, and Coors at Xpedior. In 2001, they became Self Employed as a Technical Architect and Director for Xceed. From 2002 to 2005, they were the IT and Production Control Manager at Misys Healthcare Systems. From 2005 to 2009, they were the Founder and Development Manager at Coltex Solutions, Inc. From 2009 to 2017, they were the Head of Professional Services Custom Solutions, Software and Product Engineering at PayPal. In 2020, they became an Independent Consultant, Technical Advisor, and Board Advisor. In 2021, they became the Chief Technology Officer at Oliver Technology Corporation and Tirios. In these roles, they developed strategies for the second-generation litigation management product, transitioned all infrastructure to AWS or hosted services, identified and recruited off-shore resourcing, presented technical strategies to venture capitalists and angel investors, oversaw family's distant learning needs during COVID, advised private equity and investment companies, drove monitoring and event management strategy and implementation, expanded role within Engineering Operations, implemented RelativityOne monitoring, recruited, hired, and coached a global cross-functional solutions team, launched PayPal's first analytic monitoring system, established Developer Technical Services organization, and designed a multi-year strategic plan for ShopBop.
Robert Kanok received their Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Denver between 1996 and 1998. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Colorado School of Mines between 1991 and 1994.
