Gabriella Montes-Roman

Gabriella Montes-Roman currently serves as the Community Outreach Chair for Alianza, a Latinx affinity organization, focusing on building relationships between Columbia University and the Latinx community in New York City. Gabriella has been actively involved with The Women's Network and serves as Vice President and Advisor for Scientists and Engineers for a Better Society, where project management and strategic event planning are key responsibilities. Previous experience includes internships at FTI Consulting, where expertise in data analytics and healthcare consulting was developed, and a summer internship at the Center for Appellate Litigation, which aimed to enhance access to literature for incarcerated individuals. Gabriella also coordinated community outreach efforts for a congressional candidate and participated in McKinsey's Freshman Diversity Leadership Academy. An Economics and Ethnicity & Race Studies graduate from Columbia University, Gabriella demonstrates a strong commitment to community engagement and scientific inquiry.
