Dr. Don Daake

Dr. Don Daake, Ph.D., has a diverse work experience that spans several decades. Dr. Don began their career as the Supervisor of Corporate Market Research at Winnebago Industries in 1977 before transitioning to the role of Assistant Director of Community Education at Eastern Iowa Community College in 1979. From 1986 to 1989, Dr. Daake served as the Director of Business & Industry Programming at the Center for Professional Development at The Florida State University. Dr. Don then worked as an Instructor and Consultant at The Florida State University from 1989 to 1995 while pursuing their Ph.D. During this time, they taught courses on Policy & Strategy and computer skills. In 1995, Dr. Daake joined Olivet Nazarene University as a Professor Emeritus and Principal of Daake & Associates, where they also contributed as a Business Columnist for the Kankakee Daily Journal. In 2005, they became the Principal and President of Daake & Associates, a role they held until 2012.

Dr. Don Daake, Ph.D. completed their Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies at Miltonvale Wesleyan University in 1971. Dr. Don then obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in History from Kansas State University from 1971 to 1973. Continuing their education, Dr. Daake pursued an MBA in Marketing from the University of Iowa between 1974 and 1977. Lastly, they attended The Florida State University and earned their Ph.D. in Strategy, completing their studies in 1995.
