Mary Ellen Darrah

Mary Ellen Darrah serves as the Library Media/Technology Teacher at Olmsted Falls City Schools since November 2021 and is the owner of One in a Melon, creating artwork from natural materials sourced from Lake Erie. Previously, Mary Ellen was a Second and Third Grade Teacher at Ss. Robert and William Catholic School from August 2016 to May 2021, fostering a nurturing learning environment. Other experience includes roles as a server, hostess, and trainer at Market Restaurant, as well as multiple substitute teaching positions across various schools, where classroom management and rapport-building with students were emphasized. Mary Ellen's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Cleveland State University and dual Bachelor’s Degrees in Sociology from the University of Dayton and Chaminade University of Honolulu.
