VP of Engineering at Olo

Curt Coulter has extensive work experience in the software development industry. Curt started their career at The CBORD Group, Inc. in 1994 as a Programmer and later became a Senior Programmer/Analyst and then a Software Development Manager. Curt joined the University of Michigan in 1998 as a Systems Engineer, where they were responsible for maintaining a payroll system and leading the design of a replacement system. Curt returned to The CBORD Group, Inc. in 1999 and held various roles, including Software Development Manager, Software Development Manager II, and Director of Software Development. In these positions, they led agile teams, oversaw technical architecture, and directed the development of cutting-edge applications for the healthcare market. In 2017, Curt joined A2 Hosting as the Director of Software Development, where they were responsible for the operational and long-term direction of the company. Curt joined Olo in 2019 and held multiple engineering positions, including Engineering Manager and Director of Engineering. Currently, Curt holds the position of VP of Engineering at Olo, where they help restaurant brands maximize revenue through their digital ordering platform.

Curt Coulter attended Binghamton University from 1990 to 1993, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering / Computer Science. Previously, in 1988 to 1989, they attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute to study Computer and Systems Engineering, though no degree is specified for this time period. In addition to their formal education, Curt Coulter obtained a certification in Lean Technology Strategy: Running Agile at Scale from LinkedIn in January 2023.
