EVP, Customer Experience at Olo

Denise Cox has extensive work experience in customer experience and customer service roles. Denise is currently working at Olo as the EVP of Customer Experience since May 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of SVP and Chief Customer Officer at Omnicell from February 2020 to May 2023.

Before their role at Omnicell, Denise worked at Cisco as the VP of Americas CX Centers from August 2018 to February 2020. Prior to this, they served as the VP of Americas Technical Services at Cisco from August 2016 to August 2018, where they led a team of 1,000+ employees and partners focused on high-touch customer support.

Denise also has experience at NetApp, where they held the position of Senior Vice President - Customer Success Services from September 2003 to July 2016. Denise led a global organization responsible for customer success throughout the product lifecycle. Denise provided leadership to a team of 1,500+ employees and 2,500+ partners in various areas such as installation, technical support, operations, and customer service. Denise also served as the SVP of Enterprise Services at Netapp during the same period.

Earlier in their career, Denise worked at AT&T as the Division Manager - Director GCSC Operations from October 2002 to September 2003. Denise managed a center providing data and voice management services to outsourced clients. Denise led a team of eighteen managers and 250 employees and was responsible for budget planning and continuous quality improvement.

Prior to AT&T, Denise worked at MCI Worldcom as the Senior Manager USPS Network from April 1994 to October 2002.

Denise Cox completed their education with a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Systems (IS) from Pace University, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. Prior to that, they attained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communications from the State University of New York at Albany (University at Albany, SUNY) between the years 1988 and 1991. In addition to their formal education, Denise also obtained a certification in Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn in February 2021.
