Hooman Shirazi

Hooman Shirazi, M.Eng, PMP®️, has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and project management. Hooman currently holds the position of IT Cloud Project Lead/Operation Management at Olsen, where they provide IT Cloud support for various projects and manages team performance.

Prior to this, Hooman worked at GSK as a Project Team Lead/IT Manager. In this role, they oversaw a team of four and was responsible for agile project team management, in-house application design/development, technical troubleshooting, and Level 3 support for cloud applications.

Before joining GSK, Hooman gained experience at Alight Solutions, where they held the position of Principle IT infrastructure Engineer (DSS Site Lead)/IT Site Manager. In this role, they managed data center operations, network, systems, and IT cloud issues, and provided Level 2 and 3 support for ticketing.

Hooman also worked at Aon as an IT Infrastructure Engineer Lead, where they delivered software architecture recommendations and guided technical teams in implementing solutions. Hooman also served as a Lead Technician/Customer Engineer Lead for various clients, where they traveled extensively across Canada for projects involving Windows migration and server setup.

Hooman also has a Ryerson University Certification in Workplace Communication in Canada (2010) and an Associate's Degree in Networking Engineering from triOS College Business Technology Healthcare (2008-2009). Additionally, they have a Diploma in English for Academic Purpose from Humber College (2005-2008) and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Sheikh Bahaei University. Hooman has obtained multiple certifications, including the Project Management Professional (PMP)®️ from the Project Management Institute in 2021, and various certifications from Microsoft, EXIN, VMware, Citrix Systems, and CompTIA.
