Alexander Gats

VP, EU Operations at OLSOM

Alexander Gats has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Alexander is currently serving as the VP of EU Operations at OLSOM since November 2017. Prior to this, they were the Director and Owner of Alfa Team starting from October 2011.

Alexander also worked at Coloplast as a Team Leader for Business Support Applications from April 2016 to July 2017. In this role, they specialized in SharePoint Portals and Workflow Solutions for business divisions.

During their tenure at ELEKS from November 2013 to June 2015, Alexander held the position of a Business Development Program Manager. Alexander played a crucial role in implementing various solutions.

Alexander has also worked at Microsoft, where they held multiple roles. From July 2009 to October 2011, they served as an EPG STU App. Plat, profiling solution areas and matching software market demands with partner solutions. Prior to that, they worked as an EPG Partner Account Manager, ISV, and as an SMS&P PAM ISV, both roles spanning from November 2007 to June 2009.

Before Microsoft, Alexander worked at ALTA as a Project Manager for R&D starting in May 1999 and ending in February 2007. Alexander also served as the CIO at ALTA Eastern Europe from an unknown start date to 2006.

Alexander's early work experience includes a position as a webmaster at ISP "Kar-net" from September 1995 to November 1999. During this time, they developed the first Web->DB gateway in Kiev and established accounting and business procedures for the startup ISP as the Head of the User-support group.

Alexander Gats began their education in 1975 at School #6 in Kalush, Ukraine, where they studied without a specific field of study. Alexander completed their schooling in 1980 and then went on to attend the National Technical University of Ukraine 'Kyiv Polytechnic Institute' from 1989 to 1995. During this time, they obtained a graduate and post-graduate degree in CAD systems and programming. Additionally, Alexander obtained certifications in Introduction to Game Development from Coursera Course Certificates in March 2016. Alexander also completed the Principles of Game Design course from Michigan State University through Coursera.
