Project Engineer

This position will interact with Olson engineering, production, and maintenance personnel as well as customers and outside contractors. The Project Engineer will utilize multiple disciplines to manage and complete engineering projects with wide variety. Projects often include: • Equipment based projects such as identifying equipment needs and implementation of the solution(s) • Facilities based projects to improve and maintain the buildings and building systems • Customer based projects such as explaining process options or assisting the customer with CAD modeling and design specifications • Process based projects such as refining the operation of existing equipment or manufacturing processes The candidate should possess a wide general range of expertise with mechanics, pneumatics, hydraulics, controls, electrical, etc. Problem solving and troubleshooting skills will be utilized frequently. Downtime minimization, safety, quality, productivity, and cost impact will be driving project factors.
