Lilian Thiaux has over 15 years of experience in the agroalimentary, feed production, agriculture, transport, and trading sectors. From 2017 to present, they have held the positions of Quality and Food Safety Director and Deputy Quality and Food Safety Director at OLVEA. From 2015 to 2017, they were a Consultant Spécialiste at Conform Expertise, providing Quality, Food Safety, and Feed Safety Management Systems consultancy services, support to Agri-Food and Feed companies, and second and third party Agri-Food and Feed certification services. From 2004 to 2015, they were a Lead Auditor/Certifier at Control Union, where they were an IRCA certified Third Party Lead Senior Auditor for these sectors, providing Quality Management Systems certifications (ISO 9001), Food and Feed Safety Management Systems certifications (ISO 22000, BRC, IFS, GMP+, IFIS), Good Agricultural Practices certifications (e.g. GlobalGAP IFA, Tesco Nurture, LEAF Marque), and Sustainability and other specific sectors certifications.

Lilian Thiaux's education history includes a Master's degree from Université de Picardie Jules Verne (Amiens) in Master II Développement Agricole et Agroalimentaire (2003-2004), a DUP from Université de Corse Pascal Paoli in Génie de l'environnement (2002-2004), and a DUT from Université de Corse Pascal Paoli in Biologie Appliquée (2000-2002).
