Carlie Timmers

Carlie Timmers is a Medical Doctor with extensive experience in emergency medicine and global health. Currently serving in the Emergency Department at OLVG since September 2021 and as an on-call doctor at GeriCall, Carlie has previously worked with Critical Care International, focusing on primary health care and community health projects in Southern Mali, and as a COVID-19 doctor at Erasmus MC. Experience also includes roles at Holy Family Hospital, Noordwest Ziekenhuisgroep, Spaarne Gasthuis, and Havenziekenhuis, with significant responsibilities in obstetrics, gynecology, surgery, and internal medicine. Carlie obtained a Master of Science in Medicine from Utrecht University and has contributed to medical education and research, including a research internship at Stellenbosch University.
