Andre de Geus

Andre de Geus is a Senior Staff Software Engineer at OLX Brasil since July 2022, with prior experience as a Master Software Engineer at SiDi, where research focused on machine learning applications in video surveillance and backend API development. Previous roles include Software Engineer at LAPROSOLDA, contributing to machine learning for multipass welding productivity, and Innovation Consultant at eSolvere Tecnologia LTDA, developing Industry 4.0 products. Andre also served as a professor at both PUC Minas and Universidade Federal de Goiás, and worked as a Teaching Assistant at Dalhousie University. Andre holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Uberlândia, a Master's in Modeling and Optimization from Universidade Federal de Goiás, and a Bachelor's in Computer Science from the same institution.
