David van der Wel

David van der Wel serves as Conrector at Olympus College since August 2023, after a decade-long role in the same position at Segbroek College. In this capacity, David was responsible for the havo and vwo departments, focusing on improving educational practices through collaborative leadership with six team leaders. Previous roles at Segbroek College included Team Leader for bridge classes and vwo, where David managed a team of 25 teachers and facilitated communication with primary education, and history teacher, delivering lessons to various educational levels. David also contributed as a Decaan for upper vwo and was involved in the MR, providing insights on educational policies. Prior experience includes leading a student organization at SSR-Leiden. David holds a Master's degree in education and history from Leiden University and has completed education management training.
