Vanessa Denney

Vanessa Denney currently serves as the Vice President of Philanthropic and Donor Services at Omaha Community Foundation, a position held since January 2020, having also worked as the Director of Philanthropic Services and Donor Services Specialist within the same organization. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Development for UNO IS&T and Director of Corporate Relations at the University of Nebraska Foundation from July 2015 to January 2020. Vanessa Denney began their career at the Omaha Convention & Visitors Bureau, progressing from National Sales Manager to Project Manager, handling high-level projects and city council contracts between April 2008 and July 2015. Additionally, experience as a Sales & Marketing Representative at State Farm Insurance spanned from August 2003 to September 2010. Vanessa Denney earned a Master of Arts in Critical & Creative Thinking, Organizational Science & Leadership from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and holds a BSBA in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
