Dave Stock

Dave Stock is a seasoned professional in geospatial technology and emergency services, currently serving as the Manager of Geospatial Technology and Design Support at Omaha Public Power District since October 2023. Prior to this role, Dave accumulated over a decade of experience at Black Hills Energy in various positions including Gas GIS Manager of Mapping and GIS Supervisor. Dave also contributed to the mapping of transmission pipelines at Subsurface Solutions, LLC as a Trimble GPS mapping/surveyor. Dave began a career in emergency medical services at CHI Health as an Emergency Medical Technician, complemented by a tenure as an Anesthesia Tech, and held the role of Construction Foreman at Underground Services, Inc. Dave holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Geography with a focus on Geographic Information Systems from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and has further training as an emergency medical technician from Metropolitan Community College.
