David Sears

David Sears is an accomplished technology and security leader with extensive experience in strategic management and project delivery across various industries. Since September 2017, David has served as the Director of Technology & Security Strategy and Project Delivery at the Omaha Public Power District, leading initiatives for the strategic roadmap planning process. Prior to this role, David worked at Nike as a Portfolio Manager for Corporate Information Security Strategic Management, where responsibilities included optimizing the security portfolio and managing the CIS PMO team. Earlier positions include IT Performance Manager and IT Portfolio Manager at Portland General Electric, PMO Manager at The Standard, IT Analyst at Wells Fargo, and Assistant Project Manager at Dow Corning. David holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Portland and a BA in Biochemistry from Columbia College.
