Michael Ferm

Michael Ferm has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as the Director of Operations, Energy Production & Nuclear Decommissioning and previously as the Director of Engineering at Omaha Public Power District since November 2016. With a career at Omaha Public Power District starting in 1991, Michael has held various managerial positions, including Manager of System Engineering and Manager of Site Performance Improvement Initiative. Additionally, Michael serves as the Board President of the Blair Area Community Foundation, a non-profit organization focused on community enrichment in Washington County, Nebraska, and has been a volunteer Head Referee for the CREATE Foundation, promoting youth engagement in engineering and science. Educational qualifications include two Master of Business Administration degrees in Organizational Leadership from Creighton University, earned between 2008 and 2012.
