About

The board of directors at Omaha Public Power District has a long history of experience in sustainable building design, energy efficiency, and injury prevention. Members of the board have worked as instructors for sustainable building design courses, have been involved with the LEED Energy & Atmosphere Technical Advisory Group, and have worked as a president for a sustainable building design company. The board also has experience working in natural resources, as a city council member, and as a colonel in the United States Army Reserve. In addition to their experience, members of the board also hold degrees in architectural engineering, nursing, social work, and technical studies.
