Saleh Batouq has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Saleh started as an Electronic Data Acquisition Engineer at MB Petroleum Services LLC in 1995, where they gained experience in operating and maintaining electronic gauges and sensors for well surveys.

In 1999, Saleh joined Oman Telecommunication Company as a GSM System Engineer. Saleh'sresponsibilities included network fault management, performance management, routine backups, and project engineering for network expansion projects.

In 2000, Saleh worked as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer at the General Organization for Youth Sports & Cultural Activities. Here, they were involved in construction and maintenance projects of sports complexes and regional clubs, as well as overseeing technical aspects of events held in sports stadiums and halls.

From 2002 to 2002, Saleh worked as a Lab Engineer at Sperry-sun Halliburton WWL, where they were responsible for repairing and maintaining tools used in directional drilling and measurements while drilling. Saleh also set up an individual Electronics Lab during their tenure.

In 2003, Saleh joined the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority as a Telecom Engineer. Saleh worked on frequency allocation and assignment, spectrum planning, coordination with regional authorities and the ITU, and contributed to the preparation of the National Frequency Plan.

Since 2014, Saleh has been working at Oman Airports Management Company. Saleh initially served as a Network Engineer, overseeing network systems projects for new airports in Muscat and Salalah. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Network Systems, responsible for managing day-to-day activities and project management in the Network Systems Section.

Saleh Batouq obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Electronic Engineering from Glasgow Caledonian University from 1997 to 1998. Prior to that, they attended Ruwi Primary/Secondary School from 1983 to 1989 for their high school education. In terms of additional certifications, Saleh Batouq has obtained several certifications including "Agile at Work: Planning with Agile User Stories" and "Project Management: Solving Common Project Problems" from LinkedIn in May 2022. Saleh also holds the "Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Enterprise Infrastructure (CCIE Enterprise Infrastructure)" and "Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Routing and Switching (CCIE R&S)" certifications from Cisco, both obtained in November 2013. Lastly, they have the "Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Advanced Infrastructure Implementation" certification from Cisco obtained in May 2010.
