Qais A al-Kharusi

Qais A Al-Kharusi, CFA, CAIA, currently serves as the Acting Head of Fixed Income and Portfolio Manager for Multi Asset at the State General Reserve Fund - Ministry of Finance, a position held since November 2017. Prior to this, Qais held the role of CEO at Oman Brunei Investment Company from November 2015 to November 2017 and worked as a Senior Associate in Asset Allocation and Business Strategy at the State General Reserve Fund from March 2009 to October 2015. Qais began a career in the financial sector as a Key Account Manager at Shell Oman Marketing SAOG from February 2008 to February 2009. Education includes an MBA from Columbia Business School, research experience at Stanford University's Global Projects Center, and a BSE in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan. High school education was completed at The Sultan School.
