Luciana Cunha

Luciana Cunha has a diverse work experience in the field of hydrology and engineering. Luciana is currently serving as the Vice President at WEST Consultants, Inc., where they previously worked as a Project Manager. Prior to that, they worked as a Freshwater Hydrologist at The Nature Conservancy, where they developed methodologies for urban green infrastructure and watershed evaluation. Luciana also has experience as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Princeton University and The University of Iowa, where they conducted research on hydrological modeling and data analysis. Luciana'sprevious roles also include working as a Young Scientist at IIASA and as an Engineer at Ufc Engineer and UFC Engenharia. Earlier in their career, they served as a Civil Engineer at Instituto Tecnol and as an Engineering Trainee at CH2M HILL and Sanepar. Throughout their career, Luciana has consistently demonstrated expertise in hydrology, research, and engineering.

Luciana Cunha pursued their educational journey in the field of Hydrology and Water Resources Science. Luciana earned a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from Universidade federal do parana between the years 1997 to 2002. Following this, they obtained a Master's degree from the same university from 2002 to 2004. Later, they continued their academic pursuits and completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Hydrology and Water Resources Science from the University of Iowa, where they studied from 2006 to 2012.
