Ahmed Al Balushi serves as the Head of General Audit at Oman Investment Bank since April 2025. Prior to this position, Ahmed accumulated extensive experience at Alizz Islamic Bank, where roles spanned from Assistant Manager in IT Audit to Senior Manager in General and IT Audit & Quality Assurance from July 2014 to April 2025. Ahmed began an IT Operations career at Bank Muscat from March 2011 to July 2014. Ahmed holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Muscat College, affiliated with the University of Stirling, and is a certified Fraud Examiner since October 2021. Additionally, Ahmed is enhancing expertise in Risk Based Internal Audit through ongoing education at LEORON Institute since August 2020.
