Talal al Bahlani

Talal Al Bahlani is an experienced information technology professional currently serving as an Information Technology Infrastructure Proficient at Omantel since February 2023. Previously, Talal held the position of Director of Shared Infrastructure at the Ministry of Transport, Information Technology and Communications from July 2022 to February 2023. Talal’s extensive background includes a role as System Engineering Team Lead at the Information Technology Authority in Oman from October 2011 to October 2019, where responsibilities encompassed computer systems management and cloud administration. Earlier experience includes positions at the Ministry of Education, beginning as Deputy Director of Network and Communication, and covering roles such as Head of Datacenter and System Engineer, focusing on IT systems and infrastructure management. Talal holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Sultan Qaboos University, obtained in 2005.
