Carlos Rivas Serrano has over 30 years of experience in the field of Human Resources. Carlos began their career in 1987 as a Consultant in Human Resources at Stemper Consultores, S.A. In 1990, they joined Summa Consulting as a HR Senior Consultant and was part of the largest consulting project created in Spain. In 1993, Carlos became the Director of Human Resources for Grupo Cruz Mayor, where they were responsible for opening two of the largest hypermarkets in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. From 1994 to 1996, they were the Director of Consultancy at HRC - Human Resources Consulting, where they developed processes in the areas of compensation & benefits and talent. In 1996, Carlos joined PepsiCo as the Organisation & Management Development Director for Western and Southern Europe, and was later promoted to the role of Organisation & Management Development Director for PepsiCo Europe, where they were responsible for the whole Organisation & Management area across 38 countries and 14,000 employees. In 2005, Carlos became the CEO & Consejero Delegado of OMD HR Consulting.
Carlos Rivas Serrano attended the PepsiCo HR Executive Programme (Programme for HR Exec identified as High Potential) from 2003 to 2004, where they earned a degree in Human Resources. Prior to this, they attended the Universidad de Salamanca from 1982 to 1987, where they studied Law.
