Seblewongel L. has work experience as a Machine Learning Engineer at Omdena since August 2021. In this role, they have been involved in various projects, such as determining mental health status using journal entries, improving the quality of life for seniors in nursing homes with IoT monitoring systems, predicting the relationship between triggers and symptoms of Hashimoto's Disease using statistical correlation and cluster analysis, and building an AI-based personalized language learning model for bilingual children, including immigrants and refugees.

Prior to Omdena, Seblewongel L. worked as a Drive Test Coordinator at Penta Consulting from March 2014 to March 2018. In this role, their responsibilities included project expansion of mobile communication-related products and services such as planning, tuning, designing, optimization, and deployment. They also utilized RF detection and spectrum analysis equipment to detect, identify, and analyze RF signals transmitted by various sources.

Seblewongel L. obtained a BSC.Degree in Computer Science from HiLCoE School of Computer Science between 2003 and 2006. In 2018, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from ACT American College, which they completed in 2021.

Seblewongel L. also obtained several certifications. In February 2022, they completed a Mathematics certificate from 365 Data Science. In April 2022, they obtained a Python Programmer Bootcamp certificate from the same institution. They also completed certificates in Statistics, SQL, Machine Learning in Python, and Probability in May, June, and July 2022, respectively.

By July 2022, Seblewongel L. had acquired certificates in deep learning with TensorFlow 2, introduction to Tableau, machine learning with decision trees and random forests, and SQL + Tableau. They completed additional certificates in data cleaning and preprocessing with pandas, The Complete Data Visualization Course with Python, R, Tableau, and Excel, and Git and GitHub in November 2022.

Finally, in January 2023, Seblewongel L. obtained a certificate of completion in SQL for Data Science Interviews from 365 Data Science.
