Gail D. Makode

Gail Makode serves as the Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel at Omega Healthcare Investors since September 2019, overseeing legal affairs for a publicly traded REIT with approximately 1,000 senior and long-term care properties. Prior to this role, Gail held positions as General Counsel, Senior Vice President, and Corporate Secretary at IES Holdings, Inc. from October 2012 to September 2019, and as a Board Member and Chief Compliance Officer at MBIA Insurance Corporation from March 2006 to October 2012. Earlier in the career, Gail served as Vice President and Counsel at Deutsche Bank and worked as an Associate at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP. Gail holds a Juris Doctor degree from Yale Law School and a Bachelor of Arts in English from The Johns Hopkins University.
