Chris Spinner

Chris Spinner has a diverse work experience in software engineering and leadership roles. Chris has worked at OneMain Financial since 2019, starting as a Software Development Manager and then progressing to Associate Director of Software Engineering. Currently, they hold the role of Vice President - Director of Software Engineering.

Before joining OneMain Financial, Chris worked at UTC Climate, Controls & Security from 2015 to 2019. There, they held various management positions, including Sr. Manager of the Commercial Software Group and Manager of the Commercial Applications Software Group. In these roles, they led multiple teams of engineers, managed day-to-day activities, and ensured on-time and on-budget software delivery.

Prior to UTC, Chris worked at BAE Systems from 2006 to 2015. Chris started as a Systems Engineer, performing systems integration work and leading research and development efforts. Chris then advanced to the positions of Senior Software Engineer and Principal Software Engineer, demonstrating their technical expertise and growth within the company.
