Ard Molenaar

Ard Molenaar has extensive work experience in various roles related to information security and project management. Ard is currently working as the Chief Information Security Officer at Omgevingsdienst Haaglanden since September 2022. Before that, they served as the Operationeel Technisch Coördinator en CISO at the same organization from July 2020 to September 2022.

Prior to joining Omgevingsdienst Haaglanden, Ard worked at Grant Thornton Netherlands where they held several roles including Senior Projectleider I&A, Information Security Officer, Secretaris Ondernemingsraad, Projectleider I&A, and Lid Ondernemingsraad Grant Thornton. Ard was responsible for project management, information security, and served as a member of the Works Council. Ard worked at Grant Thornton from January 2014 to July 2020.

Before their time at Grant Thornton, Ard worked at Cobbler as Kwaliteitsbeheerder, Projectleider, Senior Netwerk- Systeembeheerder, and Netwerk- Systeembeheerder from January 2007 to June 2014. Prior to Cobbler, they worked at Flexcom telecommunicatie as a Network Analist from August 2006 to August 2007.

Ard also gained experience working at Lyondell as a Security Analyst and Technical Support Analyst from January 2003 to August 2006. Ard started their career at CMG as an IT Consultant from August 2000 to August 2006. Ard also worked at Shell as Local IT Support / IT Focal Point and Local Business Application Support from October 2000 to December 2002.

Ard Molenaar started their education in 1989 at Gereformeerde Scholengemeenschap Rotterdam, where they studied MAVO until 1994. Ard then pursued a degree in MBO Technische Informatica at ROC Zadkine from 1994 to 1999. In 2000, Ard Molenaar enrolled at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and completed a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology in 2004. Subsequently, in 2013 and 2014, they attended NCOI Opleidingen to pursue post-bachelor studies in Projectmanagement. In 2018, Ard Molenaar pursued a certification in IPMA C Certified Project Manager from NCOI Opleidingen. Additionally, they obtained the MCPS (Microsoft Certified Professional) certification from Microsoft in January 2002.
