Esther Leenheer-Wessel

Esther Leenheer-Wessel has extensive experience in heritage and spatial quality consultancy, currently serving as Adviseur Erfgoed en Ruimtelijke Kwaliteit at ODZOB since 2021, while also holding the position of Secretaris Monumentencommissie Zaltbommel en Maasdriel at Gemeente Zaltbommel since January 2017. Additionally, Esther has worked as Adviseur Cultuurhistorie at Omgevingsdienst Rivierenland since 2013 and previously served as Beleidsadviseur Cultuurhistorie at Gemeente Culemborg from July 2002 to April 2013. Earlier roles include Beleidsmedewerkster Monumenten en Archeologie at Gemeente Houten and various positions within the Provincie Utrecht and Provincie Noord-Brabant focused on monument policy and heritage selection. Esther holds a degree in Kunstgeschiedenis from Utrecht University, obtained between 1983 and 1988.
