Hanneke Luijting

Hanneke Luijting is an experienced professional in the fields of sustainability and meteorology. Currently serving as an Adviseur duurzaamheid - circulaire economie at Omgevingsdienst Zuid-Holland Zuid (OZHZ) since July 2019, Hanneke focuses on promoting the circular economy through collaboration with ten municipalities in Zuid-Holland Zuid. Previous roles include Vergunningverlener milieu, where Hanneke dealt with environmental permits for provincial dairy businesses emphasizing sustainability themes. Earlier experience includes positions as a Meteorologist at Infoplaza B.V., where Hanneke provided weather forecasts for media and business clients, and significant roles at the Norwegian Meteorological Institute, including Senior Meteorologist and project leader in international development projects. Hanneke's academic credentials include a PhD in Meteorology from the University of East Anglia and a Master's degree in Meteorology from Wageningen University & Research.
