Alexander Apostolov

Principal Engineer at Omicron

Alexander Apostolov has held various roles in the field of engineering and technology throughout their career. Alexander started working at AREVA T&D in 1996 as a Principal Engineer and continued in this role until 2006. During this time, they also became a Distinguished Member of CIGRE, a prestigious professional organization in the field. In 2004, they joined AREVA TD again as a Principal Engineer and stayed there until 2006. In 2006, they started working at OMICRON electronics as a Principal Engineer and also took on the role of Editor-in-Chief at PAC World. Finally, in 2009, they became a Fellow at IEEE.

Alexander Apostolov completed their education in a chronological order. Alexander first pursued a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering degree in Power System Protection and Control from an undisclosed institution, starting in 1967 and finishing in 1973. Following this, from 1979 to 1981, Apostolov attended Technical University Sofia, where they obtained a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics degree. Lastly, from 1988 to 1990, Apostolov pursued a Ph.D. in Power System Protection and Control, but information regarding the institution is not available.
