Cord Mempel

Cord Mempel has over 30 years of work experience in the electrical engineering industry. Cord began their career in 1988 as a Software Developer at Siemens, where they worked until 1992. During this time, they gained experience in test and system management, as well as quality assurance for protection relays. From 1992 to 1997, Cord continued to work at Siemens, focusing on sales and project management for generator protection. Cord then took on the role of Regional Manager for the Middle East and Africa, specializing in protective relays until 2004. In 2004, Cord joined OMICRON electronics as a Product Manager, where they currently work.

Cord Mempel received an Engineer's degree (Dipl.-Ing) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Technische Universität Braunschweig. Cord pursued their education at the university from 1981 to 1988.
