Till Welfonder

Till Welfonder is an experienced professional in the electrical engineering industry, currently serving as Regional Manager Europe at OMICRON electronics since October 2009. Prior to this role, Till held various positions at Siemens, including Regional Sales Manager for Europe and Africa, as well as Director of Medium Voltage Switchgear Activity in France and Head of the Energy Automation Department. Additional experience includes leadership roles at VA TECH and Schneider Electric, specifically as Head of the Protection & Control Department and as a Protection Engineer for HV Substation Projects. Academic accomplishments include an Engineer's degree in Electrical Power Grids and High Voltage Systems from the University of Stuttgart, along with a Doctorate and a DEA from Grenoble INP - UGA, specializing in fault location and power system protection.
