Hazar Ilhan

Hazar Ilhan has a diverse work experience in technology-related roles. In 2011, Hazar worked as a Research & Teaching Assistant at Sabanci University, where they developed a digital holographic microscope with optical tweezers and also served as a Teaching Assistant for Micro-controllers and Logic courses. In 2015, Hazar joined Markafoni as a Senior Developer, working on desktop and mobile web platforms. Hazar completed projects such as the integration of the bukoli shipping system and creating a chrome-extension for the e-shop. However, Hazar left the company due to mismatching expectations after the evaluation period. Also in 2015, Hazar started working at OMMASIGN as a Senior Full-Stack Developer. Hazar was responsible for building a cloud-based cross-platform HTML5 signage software from scratch, utilizing state-of-the-art technologies and practices. This system runs on Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud, maintaining an active connection with numerous online devices. Later, they took on the role of System Architect & Engineer and eventually became the Joint Head of Technology in March 2019.

Hazar Ilhan obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Sabanci University, where they attended from 2006 to 2011. They then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science and Digital Holography at the same university, completing it from 2011 to 2014. Prior to their university education, Hazar Ilhan attended Beşiktaş Sakıp Sabancı Anadolu Lisesi from 2002 to 2006, although no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for this period.
