COO at Omni Family Health

Mark A. Millán, MHSA, joined the Omni Family Health Executive Team as Chief Operations Officer (COO) in April 2019. Mark has worked in leadership roles within Community Health Centers across the Central Valley and in the Pacific Northwest, and has served as Omni’s Director of Operations for the last three years. Having grown up as a farm worker in a bi-cultural household and harvesting crops in California, Washington, and Oregon− Mark understands first-hand the importance of accessible quality healthcare and services for all. He believes in working with organizations that strive to deliver the best service possible and is committed to continual quality improvement. Mark holds a Master’s degree in Health Administration from Trident University. He has completed a Health Care Executive Program from the UCLA Anderson School of Business, being the only candidate chosen to participate from the state of Oregon in 2002. Over the span of 22 years, Mark has held community health leadership roles which have further strengthened his beliefs and values. As a consultant, he provided improvement services at various Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC) in California, Hawaii, Oregon, and Washington. Specifically, in Kona, Hawaii, he assisted in opening the first FQHC in the area, West Hawaii Community Health Center. In his leisure time, Mark enjoys exploring the Hawaiian Islands, gardening, exercise, healthy living, and the great outdoors.
