Chad Campfield

Chad Campfield has a strong background in information technology and leadership roles. Starting in 2013, they served as the Chief Information Security Officer for the US Army Pacific Command, where they led the organization through its first independent cybersecurity assessment. From 2017 to 2020, Chad held multiple positions in the US Army, including Chief Information Officer for the Headquarters Department of the Army Operations Directorate and Chief Technology Officer for the Command and Control Support Agency. In these roles, they managed large-scale IT portfolios and provided strategic guidance for consolidating legacy systems. In 2021, Chad became the Chief Data Officer for the Army Talent Management Task Force, overseeing data management and analytics for recruiting and developing critical talent within the US Army. Most recently, they joined Omni Federal in 2023 as the Vice President of Information Technology for Army Programs.

Chad attended Carnegie Mellon University in 2020, where they completed the CIO Executive Program and graduated. The program focused on Information Technology Project Management.

In 2016 and 2017, Chad also attended Carnegie Mellon University as an Army War College Fellow. However, the degree obtained during this time is unspecified.

Chad pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Information Technology from the University of Maryland from 2002 to 2005.

In their earlier years, from 1991 to 1995, Chad attended the United States Military Academy at West Point, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Chad Campfield has obtained several certifications. In October 2022, they received the Amazon Web Services Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS). In September 2022, they obtained the Certified Cloud Practitioner certification from the same institution.
