Steve Knoebel

Steve Knoebel is a seasoned software and systems engineering professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple companies. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer at Omni Federal since March 2023, Steve previously held the position of Lead Systems Engineer at Peraton, focusing on cloud-native solutions for mission analytics services. At MITRE, Steve specialized as a Project Leader and Portfolio Manager, overseeing crucial projects for USTRANSCOM, and led modernization efforts for large-scale customer systems. As co-founder and CEO of Last Mile Synergy, LLC, Steve developed an innovative chemical informatics management system. Steve's technical leadership spans notable tenures at Boeing and Tapestry Solutions, where advanced software systems and architectures were designed. With graduate and undergraduate degrees in Mathematics from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville, Steve brings a strong analytical foundation to engineering challenges.
