Hector Rubin

Hector Rubin has a diverse work experience. In 2017, they started off as a Student Library Assistant at Maastricht University, where they represented the Library and the university, maintained library standards, and ensured the smooth operation of all library locations. Hector also served as the Tapijn building supervisor, responsible for managing building issues.

In 2019, Hector became the Team Lead of a Student Project Team at Maastricht University SPT. In this role, they helped bridge the gap between students and management by implementing student-related projects and providing operational feedback. Hector managed a budget of €20,000.

Currently, Hector is working at Omnia Retail as a Junior Consultant with a specialization in sales. Hector'srole involves being responsible for the duties of an Account Executive in a scaling SaaS company. Omnia Retail aims to assist retailers and brands in optimizing pricing and increasing profitability through automation and insights.

Hector Rubin has a Master of Science degree in Entrepreneurship & Business Development from Maastricht University School of Business and Economics, which they obtained from 2021 to 2022. Prior to their master's degree, they earned a Bachelor's degree in European Studies from Maastricht University from 2017 to 2020. Before that, they completed another Bachelor's degree in European Law from Maastricht University in the year 2016 to 2017. Hector Rubin's education journey started with their High School Diploma from Vancouver College, which they received from 2012 to 2016.
