Matvey Kazakov

Matvey Kazakov is the Co-Founder and CTO of Omnics, a position they have held for the past 5 years and 9 months. Prior to Omnics, Kazakov was the ICPC Director of Operations for 10 years and 1 month, where they were responsible for the overall operations of the International Collegiate Programming Contest. Matvey also served as the WF 2014 ICPC Assistant Director of Technical Operations and the ACM ICPC WF 2013 Host Director of Operations. In addition, Kazakov was also the ICPC NEERC Director of Operations for 25 years and a student at The National Research University of Information Technologies, Mechanics and Optics.

Kazakov has also held the position of Vice President, Technology at Riverwood Solutions Inc. for 2 years. In this role, they were responsible for leading the technology team and developing new software solutions for the company. Prior to Riverwood, Kazakov worked at Flextronics for 12 years and 4 months, where they held various positions including Director, Technology and Manager, Project Manager. Matvey also worked as a Software Developer at Arcadia for 2 years and 5 months, and as a Junior Researcher at Corning for 10 months.

Matvey Kazakov has a PhD from Saint-Petersburg State University Information Technologies, Mechanic and Optics (University ITMO), which they received in 2010. Matvey also has a Master from the same school, earned in 2002, as well as a Bachelor from the same school, earned in 2000. Additionally, they have an ICPCID from ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest.
