Mike Dooley is an Advisory Board Member at Omnidian. Mike was previously the Vice President Marketing at Advanced Energy from April 2012 to March 2014. Mike was responsible for all aspects of Marketing (Corporate & Product Strategy, Product Management, Field Applications Engineers, Marketing Communications, Demand Generation) for $300M+ annual commercial & utility solar business. Part of Senior Management team hired to turn AE into profitable market leadership position and a strong global presence.

Mike was part of 4 person corporate executive team to identify and execute $88M acquisition of REFUSol, a leading German inverter manufacture in 5 months. Mike personally lead REFUsol acquisition integration team, achieving >95% of goals in 90 days.

Mike developed and implemented metrics across entire organization: What is measured is improved. Mike also developed and implemented multi year strategic product and services roadmap. Mike reorganized Product Management structure to drive corporate change, hire A players and empowering Product Line Managers as mini GMs of their product offering.

Mike refocused sales targets, sales materials & training, RFP evaluation & response, greatly improving communication with internal sales team and customers. Mike also drove continued improvement processes to increase efficiency, lower cost and focus organization. Mike expanded use of common tools across organization to drive efficiency. Lastly, they developed offshore professional capabilities to lower cost, increase efficiency and expand capabilities.

Mike Dooley received their Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of New Hampshire. Mike then went on to get their MBA in Marketing from Golden Gate University.
