Rachel Edwards

Staff Scientist at Omniose

Rachel Edwards has extensive work experience in the scientific field. Rachel started their career as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Institutes of Health from October 2009 to August 2012, where they worked under the mentorship of Dr. Clifton E. Barry. Rachel then joined Washington University in St. Louis as a Postdoctoral Fellow from December 2012 to August 2015, and later became a Staff Scientist from September 2015 to June 2019, under the mentorship of Dr. Audrey R. Odom John. Rachel then worked as a Project Manager at Saint Louis University from July 2019 to March 2022. Currently, they are employed at Omniose as a Staff Scientist, starting from March 2022.

Rachel Edwards received their Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, General from Saint Louis University in the years 1997-2001. Rachel then pursued further education at the University of Michigan, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Cellular and Molecular Biology between 2002 and 2008. During the same time period, they also earned a Master of Science (MS) in Epidemiology from the University of Michigan School of Public Health.
