Lead Site Reliability Engineer at Omniscient Neurotechnology

Tyler Pool has 8 years of work experience. Tyler began their career in 2008 as a Lab Technician at the University of Hawaii, where they managed 50 Windows workstations in two classrooms and the supporting network. Tyler also built an 18-node beowulf cluster for MATLAB and MPICH, and deployed 36 workstations replacing old hardware. In 2010, they moved to the University of Hawaii Institute for Astronomy, where they served as a Linux Systems Administrator/Cisco Network Technician. Tyler provided hardware support for a 100-node image processing cluster, and provided support for 40 Windows workstations and 5 Linux servers. Tyler also managed a local Cisco switch used for a firewall and VLAN routing. In 2014, they joined Tango Me as a Site Reliability Engineer and NOC Engineer. Tyler's role included providing first-level support for a 2000+ Linux system environment, and managing deployments and configuration changes to production. In 2017, Tyler moved to Distil Networks as a DevOps Engineer. In 2018, they joined Circulation, Inc. as a Lead DevOps Engineer. Finally, in 2021, they joined Omniscient Neurotechnology (o8t) as a Sr. Site Reliability Engineer.

Tyler Pool attended the University of Hawaii Maui College from 2008 to 2012, where they studied Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology.
