Ruimin Pan

Ruimin Pan has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering and research. They started their career at Canon Australia in 2007 as a Research and Development Engineer, where they received several awards for their contributions to imaging device development. They later worked as a Senior Engineer and Tech Lead, focusing on medical imaging device software and developing image segmentation technologies using machine learning tools. As a Principal Researcher and Manager, they led a team in developing long-distance surveillance technology and patented video object detection and turbulence removal methods. In 2019, Ruimin joined Nearmap as a Principal Engineer, where they developed multi-function aerial image super-resolution software and worked on multi-spectral image registration and composition. Currently, they are the Engineering Manager at Omnistream.

Ruimin Pan holds a Bachelor's degree, summa cum laude, in Electronic Engineering from Southeast University.
