Kevin Mantooth

Kevin Mantooth has a strong background in software development and project management. Kevin started their career in 1989 as a Senior Software Engineer at McDonnell Douglas and later worked at Eastman Kodak as a Software Project Architect. At Eastman Kodak, they served as the technical lead for a reusable framework and also contributed to the development of a security application. In 2004, they joined Carestream Health as a Software Engineering Manager and Project Manager, where they managed multiple software engineering projects and teams in Dallas and Shanghai. In 2008, they briefly worked as an Owner and Consultant at New Sky Innovation before joining Parkland Hospital as a Senior Project Manager for the Medical Imaging IT group. Kevin played a key role in various projects aimed at upgrading and replacing PACS and CVPACS in different hospital departments. In 2010, they joined MedAssets as a Sr. Manager of Software Development, where they managed teams working on healthcare revenue cycle software. Kevin led the development of A/R Collections Management software and Recovery Audit software for hospitals. In 2016, they joined nThrive (formerly MedAssets) as a Sr. Manager, Software Development and later became the Director of Software Engineering at OmniSYS.

Kevin Mantooth earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Purdue University between 1985 and 1989. Later on, they pursued a Master of Liberal Arts degree from Southern Methodist University from 1997 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, Kevin also obtained certifications in project management, namely the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance in August 2011 and the Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in January 2008.
