Genís Chapinal

Genís Chapinal has a strong background in design engineering and research. Genís is currently working as the Principal Pixel Design Engineer at Omnivision since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at onsemi as a Design Engineer, progressing to roles such as Senior Principal and Member of Technical Staff from 2011 to 2022. Before joining onsemi, they worked at Cypress Semiconductor as a Design Engineer Principal and Senior Staff from 2004 to 2011. Genís also gained experience as a Senior Design Engineer at FillFactory from 2001 to 2004. Genís started their career as a Teaching Assistant and Researcher at the University of Barcelona in 1999, before moving on to roles at Infineon Technologies and the Centre for Scientific and Technological Research (ITC-IRST) in 1999 and 1998 respectively. Genís obtained a Ph.D. Fellowship and worked as a Researcher and teaching assistant at the University of Barcelona from 1996 to 1998. Additionally, they worked as a Teaching Assistant at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in 1996.

Genís Chapinal completed a Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering at Universitat de Barcelona from 1996 to 2001.
