Makoto Sube

Makoto Sube is a Senior FAE Manager at OMNIVISION since April 2020, previously holding the roles of FAE Manager of Automotive and Senior Staff FAE. From April 1987 to March 2020, Sube worked at Panasonic, serving as Chief of Technology Strategy and Open Innovation within the Connected Solutions Company. Responsibilities included technology strategy, open innovation, and partnership development. Sube has extensive experience in standardization, having participated in various technical committees, including domestic work with JEITA and international roles with IEC TC79 as Project Leader of IEC 62676-5. Previous positions at Panasonic included General Manager of Video Technology Development and Camera Development, alongside a focus on video surveillance camera product development. Sube's career began as an Electrical Engineer at Matsushita Communication Industrial Co., where development work on industrial video cameras was undertaken. Sube holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Keio University.
