Mei Ling Cheong

Mei Ling Cheong is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the development of software for automotive applications, particularly in the autonomous vehicle sector. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at OMNIVISION, Mei Ling previously held the role of Senior Software Engineer at Motional, focusing on the Drive-By-Wire Controller for self-driving vehicles. Prior to that, Mei Ling contributed as a Senior Software Engineer for Embedded Systems at Aptiv, where work involved software development for the Gen 1 Drive-By-Wire Controller and support for autonomous vehicle deployment projects. Earlier experience includes a tenure at Delphi as an Embedded Software Engineer and at Motorola Solutions as a Software Engineer, specializing in firmware development. Mei Ling holds a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia.
