Yuguo Ye

Yuguo Ye started their work experience in 2003 as an ASIC Design Manager at Shanghai Jade Technologies Co, Ltd. Yuguo held this position until 2006. In 2007, they joined OmniVision Technologies, Inc. as a Sr. ASIC Design Engineer and later promoted to Staff ASIC Design Engineer and Sr. Staff ASIC Design Engineer. Yuguo Ye led design teams and worked on the design of H.264 Video Codec IP, ranging from BP/MP/HP and VGA to 1080p. Yuguo also played a key role in the design and architecture of Low Power Video SoC. From 2016 to 2017, they served as a Senior Design Manager and then became the ASIC Design Director, where they supervised the hardware architecture design and implementation of video compression encoder/decoder IP.

Yuguo Ye obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering from Tsinghua University in 2000 and went on to receive a Master's degree in the same field from Tsinghua University in 2003.
