Walid GOMAA

Walid Gomaa has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies. Walid currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Omnix International, where they are responsible for managing the profit and loss (P&L) and budgetary aspects across all functions. Prior to their current role, they served as the Acting Chief Executive Officer and the VP Solutions and Customer Success at the same company.

Before joining Omnix International, Gomaa held the position of General Manager - Middle East and Pakistan at Hitachi Vantara, where they provided leadership for sales, presales, channel, and services teams.

Walid also worked as the General Manager - Data Center and Cloud Solutions - Middle East at Huawei Technologies, where they formulated comprehensive strategies and led product and solutions teams.

In addition, Gomaa has experience at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as the Director of the HP Storage Division Middle East, Mediterranean, and Africa, and also served as the Managing Director of the Qatar branch.

Walid has also held roles at EMC as the Sales Manager - Enterprise Content Management, at GBM as the Sales Manager - WebSphere and Rational, at IBM as the WebSphere and Rational Sales Manager, and at Oracle as the Senior Sales Consultant and Product Manager ERP.

Gomaa's career began at Data Management Systems, where they served as the ERP & Application Development Team Lead before moving on to become the AS/400 Product Manager at GBM.

Walid Gomaa obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Ain Shams University, where they studied from 1982 to 1987. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained various certifications in areas such as sales, digital transformation, blockchain, cloud architecture, DevOps, machine learning, AI, agile development, big data, and leadership from institutions such as UiPath and LinkedIn.
