Waseem Sherzad

Waseem Sherzad is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in civil engineering and project management. Currently serving as WASH Program Manager at AHDS since January 2022, Waseem is responsible for designing project action plans and developing protocols for health and WASH workers. In addition to this role, Waseem has been a WASH Program Manager at Phelan Energy Group and a Civil Engineer, overseeing construction planning and execution across various civil works. Waseem also holds project management positions with ORCD Afghanistan and Kabul Municipal, and has worked as an Architect at Omran Architects and Project Manager at SYANA Group. Waseem's career began as an Assistant Manager at Khawaryan Saze Construction Company, with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Herat University obtained in 2014.
